Ballinkeele House is Self Catering giving you the freedom to eat what & when you want.
The kitchen has every appliance and gadget you could need for cooking up a storm - ice & water 'on tap' from the fridge. The Quooker boiling water tap is so handy and the plate warmer is great for keeping food as well as plates warm.
We provide the basics for breakfast your first morning - see the list of what's usually stocked below...
If you fancy a night off, or you're celebrating a special occasion, why not contact Darron at Westgate. He has a gorgeous cafe in Wexford Town & he and his team really know their stuff and have delivered amazing food for our guests.
Kitchen Stock
Our fridge is plumbed for ice & ice water - so there is no need to bring ice with you.
We have tea bags, coffee (ground & instant & some Nespresso pods), milk, butter, bread, a dozen eggs, fruit bowl, granola, rice crispies, porridge, honey, jams & marmalade, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, ketchup & mayonnaise.
It’s enough to get you started but no doubt you’ll want to bring some more. I have all the cleaning items you will need also.
We have a well stocked shop & filling station half a mile away from us. Supermarkets are in both Enniscrothy (Lidl, Aldi, Dunnes & SuperValu) and Wexford (Dunnes, Tesco, SuperValu, Iceland, Lidl & Aldi). Tesco in Wexford deliver, so you could book your delivery in advance to arrive shortly after you do!
Last minute catering needed? There is a really good take-away in Ballymurn at the weekends and the Regent Chinese in Castelbridge deliver - menus for both are available in the house.
